Team Foundation Server - Go Offline

I've been struggling to find an option to "go offline" in a solution when the TFS loses connection with the server, in VS 2008, I couldn't do anything but to re-start the application to make any changes without a check-out so that the application opens in offline mode. There could be various other instances when a "go offline" option should be available for a TFS based solution.

I finally found a VS 2010 plug-in which does the trick. I think it is pretty useful. Do let me know your opinions on the same.
